They reached their tribe's camp just when the last rays of sunlight disappeared from the forests surrounding it. The forests consisted of all sorts of trees, most of which the tribespeople had found some sort of use for. Some had trunks that made great building material for their huts' frameworks, others had leaves that could be used to create rainproof roofs. Some even served multiple purposes, like containing strong yet flexible bark, while dropping edible nuts on the soil below them from time to time as well. The close bond between the tribe and nature was reflected in the camp itself. It was a collection of huts on both sides of a branch

"Jiral... come quickly, there's a boar... right there, in the bush next to that branchless tree." "I believe it has not seen us yet..." It took a few seconds before his concentration faded away and he became aware of his brother's quiet whispers. He stood up and sneaked away from the berry bushes, leaving his leather bag behind. The bag was almost full, as he had been collecting berries the whole day. The ones he'd just found were orange. They were called dusk berries, as they had the same intense orange color as some parts of the sky during duskfall. Since he and his brother had turned 17 summers old, the age at which children became adults
